Reflecting on 2021 and setting up for 2022
Last year was a very big year for us at Do it Now Now. Our team grew to 18 fantastic humans, seeing us grow into an organisation that has engaged, inspired and supported over 75,000 people over a 12-month period. The highs have been wonderful but the reality is unceasing.
2021 was difficult for many, with hardships across the community we support. As an organisation that supports Black communities in the UK and in countries across Africa, we have seen the diverse nature of challenges that have been faced and thankfully in many cases, overcome. Unfortunately, the work is far from done and the tumultuous times are far from over. We are still in the midst of a health crisis, a financial crisis and a mental health crisis that is disproportionately affecting our community of focus. We are but one organisation supporting thousands of the millions of people that require dedicated, high quality and most importantly, FREE support this year. The need for assistance is rising exponentially and more needs to be done by organisations like ours to meet our community where they are in the ways they need us to show up.
This year we are committing to showing up for our community as we continue to level up our services in entrepreneurship, wellbeing, leadership, financial inclusion and employability. Together, as a community, we will see through the current challenges and triumphs. Happy New Year, we’re expecting a good year and we look forward to seeing it through with all of you.
