How Black-led Impact Organisations are Powering Change in London

At Do it Now Now (DiNN), we believe in amplifying the voices of Black-led organisations driving change in their communities. Our latest report, "Resilience in Motion: The State of London’s Black-led Impact Organisations," sheds light on the unique challenges and triumphs of these incredible impact leaders.

The Reality of Black-led Organisations in London

Black-led social enterprises and charities are the backbone of many communities, delivering critical services, advocacy, and support. But despite their impact, they continue to face:

  • Financial barriers – Limited access to flexible funding puts organisations in a precarious position, making long-term planning difficult.

  • Governance and leadership struggles – Many leaders lack access to essential resources and networks that could help them build stronger, more sustainable organisations.

  • Operational challenges – Organisations often operate with stretched teams, navigating systems that weren’t designed with them in mind.

But Despite It All, We Keep Moving

Resilience is at the heart of Black-led impact organisations. These groups innovate, adapt, and push forward—even when the odds are stacked against them. This report celebrates their determination, creativity, and unwavering commitment to change.

How We’re Taking Action

We don’t just talk about the challenges—we act. That’s why DiNN launched London Now Now, a bold initiative to support 30,000 Black-led impact projects in London by 2030. Through funding, training, and collaboration, we’re ensuring that Black-led organisations not only survive but thrive.
